RHOSNEIGR.

SIAN.WAVES.

Where Welsh & English culture meet

A festival of shared sound and community

25-27 JULY

A live music trail

across local venues

This is the first year of Sain. Waves. Rhosneigr. A brand new music festival trail taking place across the village of Rhosneigr this July.

Think coastal sunsets, live music in unexpected places, and a celebration of creativity powered by local talent.

Created by the community, for the community, this weekend-long event is all about nurturing young voices, showcasing homegrown talent, and bringing people together through sound, stories, and shared experience.

Whether you're a local or a visitor, you’re invited to be part of something special.

CREATIVES

BUILT BY YOUNG

The festival is being shaped by local young people aged 13–25 who have interest in the creative arts, from stage management to social media, performance to creation — they’re learning the ropes and helping bring this vision to life.

We’re proud to be creating opportunities for the next generation of artists, storytellers, organisers, and creative minds.

Fri 25 July

Industry Talks & Festival Kick-Off
We’re starting things off with a bang — join us Friday evening for a special panel of local music industry professionals, hosted in partnership with Think Rhosneigr. Expect inspiring stories, honest advice, and the chance to connect with those working in music and events right here in Wales.

Sat 26 July

The Music Trail
Saturday is our main event — a full-day trail of live music winding its way from Llanfaelog Hall, through the village of Rhosneigr, and ending back at Anglesey Golf Club for the final acts of the day.
Wander in and out of venues to catch different artists
Grab food and drink from brilliant local vendors
Drop by the Creators Market in the village hall to browse handmade crafts from local makers
It’s a day made for exploring — come and discover the sounds of your village.

Sun 27 July

Wind Down & Open Mic
After a jam-packed Saturday, we’re winding things down with something a little more mellow.
Enjoy acoustic sets from emerging artists, dotted around the village
End the weekend with our beloved local Fire Dog Open Mic
Plus: music quizzes, spontaneous sets, and community vibes
Bring a blanket, bring a mate, and soak up the last notes of the weekend.
