Between The Lines: Deliah - Habit Special

Welcome to another week of Between The Lines, our opportunity to get into the nitty gritty of the craft of songwriting. We use some of our favourite songs, and submissions from our lovely listenership, as jumping off points to show you our interpretation of the art and craft that has gone in to bringing it to life.

This week we’re shamelessly plugging our new single, Habit. We did a bit of a production deep dive on our last single, Scorpion, and some of you eagled eyed listeners (as it were) realised that we were yet to do one for Habit, so this one is for you.

We go in to the production of the track more so than the lyrics and melody, because nobody likes hearing people talk about the meaning of their own work, but hopefully you can find some interest and usefulness in how we brought those ideas to life.
