Welcome to another week of Between The Lines, our opportunity to get into the nitty gritty of the craft of songwriting. We use some of our favourite songs, and submissions from our lovely listenership, as jumping off points to show you our interpretation of the art and craft that has gone in to bringing it to life.

After a few weeks off, we’re back with something Fucking Fabulous. This week’s track is, indeed, Fucking Fabulous by MEEK. This is a great track with so much to talk about, from an artist who seems to be doing things in the way that so many other independent artists do. As usual, we dive into the craft, but the track comes with great lessons for being in the industry today, and different cultural references behind it that add to the rich tapestry.
