This week, we are looking at one of Michelle’s favourites: The Hit by Irish singer-songwriter, Orla Gartland. After her time in Fizz, Gartland released her latest album in 2024 and entered Shell’s heart. We delve into the well crafted lyrics, the musical tools used to craft the emotional core of the song, and might get a little too personal…you’ve been warned.
